| Most aircraft owners agree that the
seat is far and away the most important feature of the interior. This is
why Wyatt Aircraft focuses on balancing design, fit, function, and ultra-comfort.
We can create a beautiful custom interior, but if the seats are not "just
right" we haven't done our job - Period.
Here's the short story on how it's done... We care about who's in the chair. We custom build seats around the person that is most often going to be planted there. This especially applies to pilot and co-pilot seats.
We build it the way you want it - no matter how many times we need to modify it. It's your money, right? It's also your plane. We want to ensure that you get exactly what you want. We will build your custom seat through the "foam stage" then call you in to see how well it suits you. If it's not "just right," we will make as many adjustments as needed to make it just the want you wanted it. At Wyatt Aircraft, we let you be a major part of the process - it's fun, it's informative, it's a seat you will enjoy for many years. That's why our customers are so happy with our work. We've seen it time and time again. Not all seats are created equal. We cannot make your Mooney seat look or feel like the Gulfstream seat you sat in at the big air show. As much as it pains us, we do have limitations - seat frame size, side panel clearance, head, shoulder, and feet room. We have to work within the boundaries of the machine. To put it plainly, once the seat is built, it and the occupant must be able to fit in the cabin. This is where CONFOR® foam is so critical. Strategically placed, this foam can work within the allowable parameters to make your seat so much more comfortable than factory new. Yes, we also do many airframe modifications here, none however, that fit a jet-sized seat into a Cessna Skyhawk*. However, we do appreciate any ideas you may have to that end. Steps to a stylish ultra-comfortable seat:
- Strip to the frame - inspect and repair defects Quality work, while in short supply, is no mystery at all to Wyatt Aircraft. You combine top quality materials, proper tools, and clear instructions with motivated, experienced, craftsmen and you get the desired results.
